More changes

Those of you not reading through a feed reader will notice I’ve changed the theme on the blog again. Each version is less cluttered that the last, but after a few months seems too cluttered again. There’ll be some more changes to the sidebars when I get a bit more time, and I’m considering having a bit of a restructure of the whole domain, including changing the domain name for the blog. I need to check that I can do it without completely severing all the links that currently exist back to the blog.

Last time I rethemed, I discovered about 3 hours later that I had chosen the same theme Linda was already using. This time it only took 2 hours to discover that Clay and I also share a similar taste in themes! I wonder whose I’ll get next time :0)

  1. Cheers Clay. I keep finding stuff I’m not too keen on (just found a box encouraging me to add some adverts. That’s for the chop straight away), but on the whole I like that there seems to be plenty of space, and everything else is just a hack away! Thanks for dropping by :)

  2. Hey, get yer grubby hands off my theme :)

I’ve been putting off hacking the CSS and headers to make my theme more me, to riff off Doug. That’s for the summer.

The sky blue links don’t do it for me. Too “web 2.0, man.” But otherwise I really like it.

    Happy blogging.

  3. Interesting point Doug! They’ll be further modifications as time allows (I want to change the header images and the sidebars as a starter), but it’s really about trying to reduce the clutter. That may not be very reflective of my personality, and certainly not of my desk, but it’s something I’m keen to try none the less!

  4. It’s a very clean theme, Dave, and I like the 3-column layout. But does it reflect your personality? Is it distinctive enough? Hmm…
